Note to All PD Participants:

Due to liability issues,

• Children are not allowed at professional development sessions.

• Animals are not allowed at professional development sessions.

(Exception: service animals)

Attention Non-Instructional Classified Staff:

Effective 5/13/10, hours earned for attending sessions will now be called Job Enhancement Training (JET) hours rather than PD Credit hours. For questions regarding this change, contact the office of Angela Reed at 485-6696.

Summer PD Reminders

• The new 2010-11 professional development year started on June 3, 2010. All sessions attended on or after that date will earn professional development credit for the 2010-11 academic year.

• All 2009-10 pending evaluations will disappear on pdCentral after June 30, 2010. This is the final opportunity to complete pending evaluations in order to convert "potential" credit hours to "earned" credit hours for 2009-10.

• Remember to complete your evaluations for any sessions that you attend during the summer.

• All certified teachers are required by KRS 158.070 to earn a minimum of 24 hours of professional development credit each year to maintain their certification.
